Brewed With Pride
At Land-Grant, we brew our beer with pride 365 days a year, working to create a welcoming and accessible craft beer experience for everyone who walks into our Taproom and Beer Garden.
Each year, we design a Pride-inspired t-shirt to sell and raise funds for the amazing people at Kaleidoscope Youth Center, who provide a safe space and resources for the LGBTQIA+ youth of Columbus. This year, we are proud to also include the Family Pride Network, a program of Stonewall Columbus, as an additional beneficiary for their work to connect and support children, families, and prospective parents in the LGBTQIA+ community through social events, educational programs and professional resources.
100% of the proceeds from these shirts will be donated to these two inspiring organizations working to make our community a safer, more diverse, more welcoming and better place. To maximize our fundraising potential, we will be running a one-week pre-sale on this year’s t-shirts and tanks, starting today and running through this Sunday. Shirt orders received during the pre-sale will be available for pick-up, shipping or delivery starting the week of Monday, June 21.
We are also excited to be partnering with Stonewall Columbus for a Family Pride fundraising event featuring Columbus’ own Nina West later this month. Stay tuned for more event details, including ticketing information – coming soon!
About Kaleidoscope Youth Center
Since 1994, Kaleidoscope Youth Center has been the largest and longest standing organization in Ohio that is solely dedicated to serving and supporting queer youth. The diverse, experienced KYC staff works alongside queer youth to create free programming, housing and support services throughout Columbus and all over the state. KYC is located in Columbus’ Discovery District at 603 E. Town St., where their 2-story, 5,000 square foot building is home to much of their programming, including the site of their Drop-in Center, the location of their Genderscope programming for trans and nonbinary youth, and the hub for their team and resources to support young members of our community.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, KYC is offering virtual drop-in center programming – including Genderscope, QPOC, Ace Space discussion groups, daily check-ins, and Nature Minutes with Amanda. People can connect with KYC over Instagram (@KYCOhio) and their new Discord server for general chats (young people 12- 20 can message their Instagram account in order to receive an invite to the server.)

About Family Pride Network | A Program of Stonewall Columbus
Having recently merged with Stonewall Columbus this past March, Family Pride Network touts experience in supporting LGBTQ+ families through their family creation process, providing resources and training to help explain and explore the pathways available through assisted reproduction, adoption, and foster care.
FPN focuses its efforts into three main areas. In terms of resources, FPN is dedicated to creating a strong support network for families. Whether it’s kids of LGBTQ+ parents who can gain confidence and self-esteem from meeting other families like theirs or parents and prospective parents having access to LGBTQ+-friendly resources, this network is tremendously beneficial to LGBTQ+ families. From a community standpoint, the Family Pride Network provides much-needed connection and support to LGBTQ families through their social events, professional resources and educational programming. Lastly, from an education & advocacy perspective, FPN offers voices of advocacy and educational resources around starting a family as an LGBTQ individual or couple to help mitigate an otherwise intimidating and often confusing process.
