Through this program, we aim to bring awareness to our featured partner, celebrate their commitment to making an impact, and give our customers the opportunity to also lend their support.

GLADDEN COMMUNITY HOUSE

This Holiday Season, we’re proud to highlight Gladden Community House, an organization that has been stabilizing families and empowering the community of Franklinton for 118 years. A trusted resource for our neighborhood’s 12,000 residents, GCH offers team sports, pre-school, and after-school programs for the youth, senior outreach, and operates a food pantry that serves over 1,000 families each month.

We’re continually inspired by their mission of strengthening the well-being of the community and building a thriving, equitable neighborhood.

NOVEMBER 2024 - FRANKLINTON CYCLE WORKS


Franklinton Cycle Works works (and plays) to educate our neighborhood about the personal, environmental, social, and physical benefits of biking. The Franklinton community is their home and they proudly provide the space, parts, tools, and knowledge to offer our neighbors affordable access to two wheels. FCW wants to empower all of Franklinton to take advantage of the benefits of biking while building a strong, tightly-knit biking community.

Help give a kid a bike this holiday season! Franklinton Cycle Works is teaming up with Land-Grant and local non-profits to give kids in foster care, temporary housing, and other difficult circumstances with a new bike. In late December, FCW will provide a bike and helmet to families selected by partner non-profits. You can contribute by rounding up on your drink tab at Land Grant through the month of November. Round up to make this holiday truly special.

OCTOBER 2024 - BOUNDLESS


I Am Boundless serves adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and behavioral health challenges. Their mission is to inspire the potential of ALL people to live Boundless lives where they live, work and play.

They are a statewide nonprofit who provides a variety of services including residential housing, adult day programs, vocational training opportunities, autism centers, counseling, primary healthcare and dental services (catered to those who need more time and understanding). They are a person-centered organization that grows depending on the needs of those they serve. Their staff strives to focus on five values as they work: love, excellence, well-being, respect and empowerment. What makes Boundless unique is their relentless commitment to finding a way to meet the needs of those individuals they serve.

SEPTEMBER 2024 - ZORA'S HOUSE


This month, we are thrilled to partner once agauin with Zora’s House in celebration of the grand opening of Zora’s House 2.0, a groundbreaking co-working space and community hub in Columbus dedicated to women and gender-expansive people of color.

After years of dedicated fundraising and community support, this one-of-a-kind co-working space and leadership incubator is now a reality. Zora’s House is more than just a space; it’s a beacon of empowerment, offering programs, workshops, and events designed to foster leadership, creativity, and collaboration. They are ecstatic to see the community’s dream come to life and invite everyone to be a part of this exciting new chapter as Zora’s House begins its journey of making an indelible impact on Columbus and beyond.

AUGUST 2024 - PELOTONIA


Pelotonia is a community dedicated to ending cancer through innovative research funding through impactful events like its annual Ride Weekend, iconic Opening Ceremony, and the new Gravel Day. To date, Pelotonia has raised over $283 million, with all funds supporting cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center. Since 2015,

Land-Grant has supported Pelotonia through fundraising beers and on-site events, and this year marks our third year riding as a team. We’re honored to support them this August as our Let’s Give Partner, round up today to support the Land-Grant Peloton and Pelotonia’s One Goal: End cancer!

JULY 2024 - NINJA PICKLEBALL


Ninja Pickleball is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of pickleball and its many benefits. The organization believes that pickleball is a great way to get exercise, socialize, and have fun, and it is committed to making the sport accessible to everyone. Ninja Pickleball offers pickleball clinics, tournaments, and other events for people of all ages and skill levels. It also works to promote pickleball in the community and raise awareness of its benefits.

Ninja Pickleball believes that pickleball is a sport that can change lives. It is a great way to stay active, meet new people, and have fun. The organization is committed to making the sport accessible to everyone and believes that pickleball can help people of all ages and abilities live healthier, happier lives.

Here are some of the ways that they work works to achieve their mission:

  • Offering pickleball clinics and lessons for people of all ages and skill levels.
  • Organizing pickleball tournaments and other events.
  • Promoting pickleball in the community and raising awareness of its benefits.
  • Providing financial assistance to people who want to play pickleball but cannot afford to do so.

Ninja Pickleball believes that everyone should have the opportunity to play pickleball and is committed to making the sport accessible to everyone. The organization is grateful for the support of its donors and volunteers and is excited to continue its work to promote the sport of pickleball.

JUNE 2024 - COLUMBUS PRIDE BAND


The Columbus Pride Band is a non-profit musical orgaization serving LGBTQ+ members since 2003. The band has grown to over 100 musicians and, in addition to the Pride Parade, the band presents two concert band performances a year.

Members also perform in ensembles such as Pep Band during OSU football season, the Holiday Ensembles at German Village Lights and many other unique events. The band’s sound, musicianship, and participation have continued to grow each year, as has its audience. The Columbus Pride Band is a proud member of the Pride Bands Aliiance and has the honor of hosting the annual conference right here in Columbus in July of 2024.

MAY 2024 - FRANKLINTON ARTS DISTRICT


Franklinton Arts District, established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization, serves as a vital hub for nurturing and promoting artistic endeavors in the dynamic neighborhood of Franklinton. FAD’s primary mission is to spearhead initiatives that foster the growth, recognition, and development of the arts and artists within the community.

Situated east of downtown Columbus, adjacent to the Scioto Peninsula, our district pulses with a diverse array of creative expressions. From vibrant artist studios to energetic performance venues, from a diverse range of galleries to maker spaces buzzing with activities, FAD serves as a resource to artists and creators in this community.

By championing the creative, can-do spirit that defines Franklinton, FAD strives to amplify its unique character and enrich the lives of residents and visitors alike. Through collaborative partnerships, educational programs, and community outreach initiatives, we endeavor to cultivate an environment where creativity thrives and the arts serve as a catalyst for social cohesion and cultural enrichment. As the Franklinton Arts District, we are committed to nurturing a vibrant and inclusive ecosystem that celebrates the transformative power of art and empowers artists to realize their full potential.

APRIL 2024 - COSI

COSI – our beloved down-the-street neighbor – is a nationally esteemed science center that has delighted Central Ohio with all things science for 59 years, inspiring interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) topics and delivering our experiential, “hands-on fun” brand of learning.

As a trusted educational resource for families, schools, and community partners – COSI is an essential element of our community, engaging more than one million people annually through onsite, offsite, and online experiences.

This month, we’re thrilled to be collaborating with COSI with our Space-Grant Totality Black IPA, brewed to commemorate the total solar eclipse on April 8th. We’re also teaming up to celebrate the astrological event with a party on eclipse day with hand-on experiments, live music, and beer!

MARCH 2024 - ZORA'S HOUSE

This month, we are excited to once again partner with Zora’s House – the first and only coworking space and leadership incubator in Ohio created by and for women of color – Zora’s House is making space and history with our expansion to a 10,000 sq. ft. community hub in Weinland Park that will serve as a center for leadership, innovation, and empowerment centering women+ of color. They have $1 Million to go in their $6 Million Dollar campaign and need your help to get them to the finish line! FEBRUARY 2024 - SPECIAL OLYMPICS OHIO

This month, we’re honored to partner with Special Olympics Ohio to support their Columbus Polar Plunge, taking place this month on Saturday, February 10th, at Lower.com Field.

The entire community is invited to participate as proceeds raised help provide year-round sports, health education, and athlete leadership programs for 20,000 Special Olympics Ohio athletes-all at no cost to them.

JANUARY 2024 - COLUMBUS CURLING CLUB

The Columbus Curling Club is the only curling club in Central Ohio and is a 501c3 not-for-profit sports organization with membership nearing 300 people. Their mission is to promote, support and grow the sport of curling in Central Ohio, and they deliver an exceptional curling experience that helps build lasting relationships with members and the community.

Curling is a rapidly growing sport in the United States, and it has mass appeal to many in the community because it is a sport that can be played by virtually anyone. The club is embarking upon a significant journey to expand our club and greatly improve the curling experience for our members and guests.

The Columbus Curling Club is 100% volunteer run and staffed and is seeking out new members, partners, and sponsors to help us achieve our expansion goals.

DECEMBER 2023 - ZORA'S HOUSE

This month, we are excited to once again partner with Zora’s House – the first and only coworking space and leadership incubator in Ohio created by and for women of color – working to ensure the full participation of Black women and other women of color in the civic, economic, and cultural life of our community.

NOVEMBER 2023 - BESA

This month, we’re incredibly proud to partner with Besa, a Columbus-based nonprofit dedicated to powering a wave of civic engagement that lifts us all. Besa fulfills critical needs by connecting people to community service. Every day, they make giving back easy—and transformative.

This year, their goal at Besa is to execute 1,500 volunteer experiences so nonprofits can serve more residents who rely on the services they provide–and so community members can both give and receive the positive impacts of volunteering.

OCTOBER 2023 - AMERICAN OUTLAWS COLUMBUS

The philanthropic goal of the American Outlaws Columbus Chapter (AO Columbus) is to let the beautiful game bring communities together.  They are committed to growing the game in the Columbus community and across the nation while recognizing the power of soccer to change communities and lives.

They do this by supporting innovative programs like the Final Third Foundation’s Soccer and Literacy Program here in Columbus and AO Impact’s national grants program. The Soccer and Literacy Program uses the power of sport to uplift communities by combining the teamwork and leadership-building aspects of soccer with educational skills such as reading and writing fluency, comprehension and vocabulary development, and higher order thinking skills (such as critical thinking and problem solving). AO Impact’s national grant program supports and equips teams, programs, and players in need to build community soccer infrastructure, giving greater access to play and growing soccer community programs to change lives.

SEPTEMBER 2023 - FRIENDS OF METRO PARKS

This month, we are proud to partner with Friends of Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks, a 501c(3) membership based nonprofit organization formed in 2014 to help support our Metro Parks. Through outreach, advocacy, and fundraising, they strive to make sure everyone in Franklin County and the surrounding areas know about the great opportunities the Metro Parks offer.

The benefits of the Metro Parks include conserving green spaces and wildlife habitat in central Ohio, free public programs for all ages, dog parks, and outdoor recreational opportunities.

Friends of Metro Parks supports the Metro Parks through small grants and providing extra programming at large events, as well as taking part in community partnerships that help promote and support the Metro Parks! Members of Friends of Metro Parks will gain access to “Friends Only” experiences that are advertised through a Monthly Newsletter. They will also get first invites to our Annual Friends Gala, as well as select public programs and events throughout the year.

In addition to being this month’s Let’s Give Partener we are proud towork with the Metro Parks through our collaboration with Nocterra Brewing, Wandering Monarch as well as at their annual outdoor festival, Scioto Fest!

AUGUST 2023 - NATIONAL VETERANS MEMORIAL AND MUSEUM

This month, we are thrilled to partner with our neighbors, the National Veterans Memorial and Museum. The NVMM began with a vision from the late Senator John Glenn (1921-2016), Colonel, USMC (Retired), who understood the pressing need to honor the legacy of the courageous men and women who answered the call for our country.

We must carefully preserve not only the names, dates, and battles but the intimate memories, personal belongings and painful losses of our nation’s Veterans. His vision is now the guiding principle for the institution he inspired.

Visit the taproom this month, try our collaborative India, Papa, Alpha NVMM IPA and round up to support their incredible mission.

Each month through our Let’s Give program, we shine a spotlight on the remarkable organizations that make a positive impact in our community. This June, we are thrilled to feature Stonewall Columbus, an organization dedicated to advocating for, supporting, and celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community.

We share in Stonewall Columbus’ passion for bringing people together, fostering inclusivity and spreading joy. We invite you to join us as we delve into their incredible work and the ways we can support them not only throughout June, but year-round as part of #StonewallPride365.

As the heart of the LGBTQIA+ community in central Ohio, Stonewall Columbus has been an invaluable ally, advocate, and support system for over four decades. They work tirelessly to create a safe, empowering, and vibrant environment for individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities. 

While there are a variety of ways you can engage with Stonewall Columbus – the biggest is through Stonewall’s annual Pride Festival and Pride March (6/16 and 6/17) (You can see a full list of Stonewall’s Pride events here.)

APRIL 2023 - COLUMBUS METROPOLITAN LIBRARY

Can you say ses·qui·cen·ten·ni·al? Libraries don’t turn 150 years old every day, so it’s time to celebrate! Columbus Metropolitan Library is throwing a year-long celebration to celebrate their sesquicentennial anniversary, and we’re inviting you to join us in celebrating them all month long!

The library is synonymous with community, and we deeply admire how CML – which was founded as a single reading room – has grown to 23 library branches throughout Franklin County, providing spaces that are open to all. From students seeking help with school to book lovers checking out dozens of titles, we are grateful to have this valuable resource in our neighborhoods – including our local Franklinton Branch.

Whether you raise a glass with our exclusive library collaboration brew – Read Ale, grab a Sesquicentennial Passport to embark on an adventure at the library and around your community, or round-up your tab to support the CML Foundation – there are countless ways to show your support.

MARCH 2023 - CINEMA COLUMBUS

Cinema Columbus is an organization dedicated to sparking curiosity, conversation, and understanding through independent film throughout our city. We greatly admire the way Cinema Columbus celebrates the diverse people and stories brought to life by independent filmmakers, and share their passion for storytelling, community building and the celebration of independent art.

Cinema Columbus has been working collaboratively with venues throughout central Ohio to establish an outstanding annual film festival bringing independent film from around the globe (and here at home) into our communities and enhancing the Columbus film scene.

FEBRUARY 2023 - UPPER CUP COFFEE

Upper Cup Coffee Co., a local coffee roaster with shops in Old Towne East & Gahanna, is a place where a variety of peoples, cultures, styles and theories all come together over a great cup of coffee.

With the ethos Coffee Is Our Culture, we deeply admire how Upper Cup has served as an incubator, fostering a sense of community throughout their neighborhood since opening their doors in 2011, and are proud to partner with them as both our February Community Partner and on our collaborative Black IPA with Coffee, Buna.
